About
History of The Pegasus
Originally called the Mustang Roundup when Chugiak High School began in 1964, The Pegasus has completed a full metamorphosis.
The original adviser for the paper was Seamus McGrady. The Mustang Roundup was printed in Lee Jordan’s workshop in Birchwood.
From 1988 to 2009, the Pegasus was under the direction of Gretchen Wehmhoff, and upon her retirement, current newspaper adviser Trevor Snyder took command.
This year, the 2009-2010 year marks the Pegasus’s first year as an e-paper, catering to the online community.
