Trevor Snyder serves as the adviser for Chugiak High School’s student-newspaper, the Pegasus.  In addition to his role as adviser for the school newspaper, he also serves as adviser for the CHS yearbook, and teaches Journalism along with English 11.  Mr. Snyder began teaching at Chugiak in 2009, after spending five years teaching in a remote, native village in southwest Alaska.  He is very excited about the Pegasus going online because it offers students a myriad of opportunities to communicate important information utilizing digital media.  An online paper offers audio and video broadcasting along with the written story.  The 2009-2010 school year will be an exciting one for sure as CHS explores the possibilities of an e-paper.
